Lucas gave a somewhat relieved smile as they walked outside. He wasn’t too comfortable in that bar, so he was glad to feel the fresh air on his face.
He watched as Gold put on a straight face and blinked. Why put on a straight face…? He gave Gold a smile, almost as an attempt to reassure him that it was okay to smile. “I’m fine, Gold. Really,” he responded. “What do people do around here on nights like this, anyway?”
Gold thought for a moment, staring up at the sky. “Hmm, guess it depends on what ya wana do?” His eyes were quickly brought back down to earth when a sign came into his view, stumbling around the metal pole as he avoided a harsh greeting to it and then the ground. The raven once again clamped his hand onto Lucas’s shoulder, stabilizing himself before continuing on by clearing his throat.
“If ya want fun there are a few steak houses, diners, ‘n the movie theater.” A twinkle let up in his eye and he glanced over to meed Lucas’s gaze. “Or if ya want romantic most people head north to the National Park 'n watch the sun set. I’ll admit, looks really pretty, the sky get’s all orange 'n purple 'n the flowers make a great settin’ fer it.”
