Ashe had finished the Poffin Lucas gave him, so she was content to sit by his feet for now. Lucas gave her a scratch behind the ears as Gold told him about the noodle place in Ectruteak. He knew what Gold was talking about - he passed that place while walking through the city. From what he saw, it seemed to be a really good place. “I think I know the place you’re talking about,” he responded. “I’ve never been there, but it does look good.”
Lucas hummed in thought. A battle…? Well, he had just finished training, but none of the pokemon he trained were in his main team. Maybe he could switch and see what happens. “A battle might be fun, actually. Also, thanks for the Totodile! I named him Clint, and he’s doing really well. I was really surprised by his moveset. You want to see him when we meet up?”
~♔~ Gold giggles at the name, Clint. It wasn’t a bad name by any stretch of the imagination Gold just thought it was cute how all of Lucas’s pokemon were nicknamed. “Yeah, I wonder if he’ll even remember me.” He snorted over the phone and returned Typhlosion to his pokeball, adjusting his belt. “I’m glad you like him, I was afraid you wouldn’t.” The boy moved to lock up the apartment, stuffing his keys in his backpack and letting Togekiss out of it’s pokeball. The flying fairy type stretched and let out an approving cry.
~♔~ “Well, i’m about to head out, i’ll meet you at the noodle shop. I’ll see you and clink in a while.” The breeder said his goodbyes and allowed his phone to join his keys in his pocket. With a slight hop Gold landed on his pokemon’s back, pulling down his goggles as they took off into the air for Eckruteak.
